About the UNICEF

UNICEF has been helping children for over 60 years and has saved more children's lives than any other organization in the world. We have the history and the experience to overcome obstacles like politics and poverty, even war, which can stand in the way of helping a child survive. While we could never do it alone, we are often the ones who reach children in need after everyone else has given up.

99 Dollar Furniture Store brings Christmas in July to Child Crisis Center

Phoenix Business Journal

The 99 Dollar Furniture Store is partnering with the Child Crisis Center through the month of July to collect toys, diapers and baby food to provide to children during the holiday season.

Officials say they are starting early fearing the troubled economy may impact donations.

The store's two locations in Mesa and Glendale will serve as a drop off locations for the items and offer a 5 percent discount on purchases when customers make a donation.

Child Crisis Center was created in 1981 to prevent neglect and child abuse by supporting families through education and intervention, providing a safe environment for children, raising community awareness and setting a standard for others to follow. The center's shelter and programs have provided aid to more than 12,000 children.

to host “Christmas in July”

Mesa, Ariz. (July 10, 2008) – The 99 Dollar Furniture Store is partnering with the Child Crisis Center through the month of July to provide children with much needed items during the holiday season.
